For more than two decades, Shameka Anderson has been dubbed as the stylist with a flair for hair! A staple in her community, this 1996 graduate of the Chesapeake School for Science and Technology has literally cut her way to success. In a quest to continue to serve the community she grew up in, in 2015, Shameka became the sole proprietor of Hair Elegance Hair Salon located in Chesapeake, Virginia. Hair Elegance is a place where all are welcomed, and life changing transformations happen from the inside out. Known for creating custom hair colors and her signature short cuts, Shameka keeps her skills and shears SHARP by educating and mentoring others in the cosmetology field .
Shameka lives what she teaches - work life balance, quality customer care, and product knowledge. Shameka is a loyal supporter of the Influance Hair Care product line. A day at Hair Elegance is not an appointment, it’s an individualized experience tailored to each customer. Never leaving any stone unturned, Shameka cuts out special time in her schedule to service those impacted by hair loss medically.
Understanding her assignment, Shameka intentionally seeks opportunities to daily make a difference. Leaving a legacy of love, strength, and totally fabulosity is her life’s mission. Some people are taught to do hair but Shameka is called.

Alicia Shaw, All Made Up by Alicia, is a licensed cosmetologist since 2014 who specializes in all things healthy hair! She is also a professional makeup artist and photographer, offering packages in hair, makeup, and photography.
Hi Everyone, I’m Jasmine a stylist at Hair Elegance Salon located in the Greenbrier area of Chesapeake, VA. I specialize in wigs, weaves, and short hair. I’m passionate about hair, and I love what I do.
Hello, I am Jaylen also known as “Thehairtalks.” I am a licensed cosmetologist based out of Chesapeake, VA located at Hair Elegance. I am a very well-trained stylist of 9 years. Though I do many things, I specialize in color and natural blowouts. If you are looking for a stylist to help educate you on how to keep your hair healthy, I am your girl! Hi! My name is Aayla known as aym0net.stylez. I am a professional braider located in the Hampton Roads area. I’ve been braiding for 10 years. Although braiding is my specialty, I also provide natural protective styles ranging from sew-ins, to crochet to wig services, plus more! I always strive to see how my clients feel after the service is complete. It’s my goal to be sure you are satisfied and feeling your very best once you leave my chair.
